“Self-esteem challenges,
codependence, avoidant patterns, romantic obsessions and dissociation….these
behaviors are sometimes related to underlying activation and trauma. I
specialize in the treatment of addictive/compulsive disorders associated
with secondary responses to trauma. In addition to individual interactive
psychotherapy, I offer a highly eclectic and integrative model for couples
utilizing intra-psychic and interpersonal models for recovery. My background
includes over two decades of clinical practice closely aligned with a
dynamic process of exploration and research supporting emerging Transpersonal,
Somatic and Vitalistic paradigms for Health and Wellness for 21st Century
living. Managing complexity is at the heart of meeting the current challenges
of today’s lifestyles. Anxiety and depression, unchecked, may compromise
our capacity to access the vast intuitive network available to us. Emotional
literacy, together with innate intelligence, is a powerful duet for transformational
living. My practice is diverse and my Humanistic & psychodynamic approach
to healing is uniquely tailored to the challenges and circumstances impacting
individuals and couples.”
